CROSSLINE BESPOKE manages custom furniture projects from initial review through final placement, maintaining direction over design development, specifications, materials, production coordination, quality-control checkpoints, and final planning.

This structured approach supports homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, hospitality professionals, and commercial clients while allowing each stage to respond to the requirements of the individual project.

Review and Technical Direction

The opening stages establish whether the project is a suitable fit and define its goals, design direction, dimensions, intended use, and technical requirements.

  1. Initial Project Review

    CROSSLINE BESPOKE reviews the project type, intended use, approximate dimensions, location, reference images or drawings, relevant timing, and initial access, delivery, and installation considerations. This review helps establish the project goals, determine whether the work is a suitable fit, and identify any additional information needed. Consultations are available at the client’s home, project location, or by scheduled virtual meeting.

  2. Design Direction

    The furniture direction is clarified around proportion, comfort, visual language, intended performance, and its relationship to the surrounding interior. These decisions establish a focused design direction without extending the scope into full interior design services.

  3. Dimensions and Technical Specification

    Project dimensions and relevant technical requirements are documented before production. Depending on the piece, this may include furniture and access dimensions, modular breakdown, installation conditions, upholstery construction considerations, and approved hardware or detailing.

Materials, Scope, and Production

Coordinated materials, an approved scope, and documented project requirements provide the framework for made-to-order production.

  1. Materials and Finish Coordination

    Upholstery, finishes, foam direction, hardware, and other relevant materials are reviewed and coordinated according to the approved scope. Selections are considered in relation to intended use, visual direction, comfort, and the requirements confirmed for the project.

  2. Proposal, Scope, and Schedule

    A project-specific proposal defines the approved scope, pricing, payment structure, expected schedule, material responsibilities, delivery or installation conditions, and relevant exclusions. Timing remains subject to approvals, material availability, production requirements, and project conditions.

  3. Production Coordination

    CROSSLINE BESPOKE coordinates specialist production resources according to the approved specifications, materials, schedule, and quality requirements. Project communication and applicable approval checkpoints remain under CROSSLINE BESPOKE direction throughout production.

Quality and Completion

The final stages maintain accountability through quality-control checkpoints, project-specific delivery planning, and final review.

  1. Quality-Control Checkpoints

    Quality is reviewed at appropriate stages according to the project. Checkpoints may include dimensions, construction progress, materials, upholstery execution, seams and alignment, finish quality, visible details, and final readiness before delivery.

  2. Delivery and Installation Planning

    Delivery and installation planning considers the project location, furniture size, access, schedule, handling requirements, and installation scope. Delivery and installation options are discussed based on the project and location.

  3. Final Review and Client Acceptance

    Where applicable, final placement or installation is reviewed against the approved scope. The client reviews the completed work, and any remaining issues are documented before the project is closed.
